The Ontario High School Dragon Boat Championships, held on Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering on Sunday June 7th, 2009, will crown Ontario’s best dragon boat racing high school. Featuring Canada’s deepest field of competitive high schools, this regatta has already produced countless Canadian National paddlers at the junior, under-23 and premier divisions and will again highlight some of Ontario’s fastest dragon boat crews (regardless of age classification).
Local and regional high schools from across Ontario will compete in an IDBF-style championship regatta featuring open, women and mixed races in 200m and 500m distances. The high school accumulating the most points will be declared the Ontario Champion and awarded the Ontario High School Championship Cup.
This event will feature the majority of members of the 2009 Canadian Junior National Team competing in the 2009 IDBF World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.

Registration for the pdbc's 2009 Ontario High School Championships is now open. We'll see you on Sunday, June 7th!
To register for the pdbc's Ontario High School Championships please fill out and submit the following online registration form:
Q. I've submitted the online registration form, but my team doesn't appear in the "Registered Teams" table - what should I do?
A. The first step is to look at the date listed above the table of registered teams. The table was last updated on the specified date, so it is most likely that you submitted your registration after the table was updated. Your team will appear in the "Registered Teams" table the next time the table is updated, which is usually once every two weeks. If you've registered well before the listed date but your team name still doesn't appear in the table please email us at pdbc@pdbc.ca.
If you have any questions regarding the Ontario High School Dragon Boat Challenge please email us at pdbc@pdbc.ca.
